My Comments Across The Web

I also got that error, fixed it myself, but still get this when I go to the settings page:
Couldn’t find wp-content/plugins folder. Please make sure WordPress is installed correctly.
In your plugins/sociable folder, you must have these files:
___list of files___
This may be because I’m not logged in, but you don’t show me any buttons to create a new community. Especially when there are zero communities in my area, such a link would be beneficial.
Yep, main reason I come here. Please give me an RSS feed for this alone.
Well, doesn’t look like this mac release has any RSS functionality at all.
Err, you can disable the auto grow setting in transmission if that’s what you are talking about?..
So, make hitting the front page harder?
You can ofcourse unflip it by typing the flipped text in the first box.
Oh my word, that’s awesome..Snore.
I love it, will definitely use this. But please add an affiliate program.
And make sure your domain is not with godaddy.
I agree, get rid of the "clusters" name. But not only that, the search results page is too complex. What is "rank (modified)"? What is the "cluster popularity"?
The entire concept of the cluster chart is probably something most parents aren’t interested in.
Invest in the domain name, most domains that are taken are by domain scrapers and are used as ad landing pages. Most of these domains are for sale at the right price.Do not buy the typical web 2.0 sounding domain name.
The time of $9.95 domains is over.
Oops, excuse me for not reading the full description :)Still, I think you should show minimal ads to logged in users too. Maybe the adsense ad link format (plain links).
When something is free, users should expect to see some ads.
Play with the position and style of that ad (if you don’t want to ad more..)So put it in the middle of the article, under the article, etc.. Measure what works best.
Even better would be to have it randomly change color (you can set this when you create the adsense ad) though that could be annoying..
Or simply randomly change the format of the ad: small rectangle, big rectangle, banner, etc.. you will need to code this yourself, but it should help with banner blindness.
If you hate ads, you should just show more of them to non-logged in users.. It can even be an incentive to get them to sign up if you mention it on the site :) Do you know the % of pageviews between logged in users and guests?
I don’t see any ads at all, where are they? Example page please.
And I guess it would also be nice to have just 1 single bot in jabber.everything@mybot.im .. instead of having 10 bots for 10 different things.. (would clutter things up pretty fast)
Just send an identifier to the bot when you first ping it to tell it what app you want to access.
Very nice, but can you skip the first step? You have to send "ping" first? If I use a service multiple times, I would already know what input the app needed. For example, "Weather NY".

I’ve discovered that it’s due to chdir being a disabled function on my server. I’m not really sure, but I think you can update the plugin to not use chdir. Ofcourse, this is a specific condition that probably not alot of people will have, so it probably isn’t worth your time. I can fix this manually myself.
